In addition, the company integrates third party equipment, such as IBS, IPMS, etc. onto various platforms, as well as undertakes repair and maintenance of various ships and rigs. Further, it fabricates, assembles, and erects heavy engineering products. The company was formerly known as Reliance Naval and Engineering Limited and changed its name to Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited in January 2025. Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited was founded in 1997 and is based in Mumbai, India.
